Round up is a non selective post emergence herbicide used in control of narrow leaf weeds and broad leaf weeds. its a systematic broad spectrum herbicide. the active ingredient is is oprophylamine salt of glyphosate.

glyphosate is absorbed through the  leaves , and minimally through roots and it spreads to the whole plant leading.
